http://www.ogc.gov.uk/ - The Office of Government Commerce website should be your first port of call online for a comprehensive, structured and detailed breakdown of Prince 2 processes, techniques and stages.
http://www.michaelgreer.com/ - top tips on project management techniques and practices, although with a US bias.
http://www.projectreference.com/ - Extensive project management resources.
http://ganttproject.biz/ - free, open source gannt chart software. Very easy to use and charts can be exported as HTML, PDF or MS Project file.
http://www.openworkbench.org/ - free, open source project scheduling software. An excellent alternative to Microsoft Project that is free for distribution across an entire enterprise network.
FreeMind - A great free brainstorming tool for conceptualising your project before creating standard diagrams or flowcharts. You'll need to install JRE 5.0 before installing FreeMind.
http://www.assessnow.com/ - a simple risk evaluation and measurement tool. It’s quirky and simple. I wouldn’t base any important decisions on this alone, but it is free.
