Project communication

Keeping effective lines of communication open is essential to supporting and managing any project, and to this end, I endevour to keep as many channels of communication open to you as possible, right from our first introduction. My emails are checked regularly during office ours, and I am usually immediately available via phone or fax.

Communication plans

When we work together, one of the first things we will do is to put together a communication plan, so that it is clear from the offset, which stakeholders and project team members should be available to each other and on what basis. This could include email contact, telephone contact and conference calls, to arrangements for formal and ad hoc personal meetings. Where possible I also like to work with automated, event-orientated project documentation, whereby changes to key project documentation trigger pre-set communication plan events. So, for instance, when a new project risk is identified and catalogued, all relevant team members recieve immediate email notification.
